Hello again, Christmas is closing in quickly and I wish you all a right good Advent, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We have hat a mating in the house, Chiko and Kiva has had it quite so nice so now we are waiting in anticipation that there will be puppies in the beginning of January. (If anyone is interested I will take the puppy list, feel free to call me).
Otherwise, we are barely in time with Christmas preparations, the weather outside does not tempt so much for walking tour, icy roads and muddy dogs that frequently has to take a shower, just a shame that only a little pee tour out and they look the same again. They are busy catching rodent that we have a lot of this year, not quite so nice to have them dragged into the house but we must take the bargain. All dogs are thankfully healthy and thriving, even Tufsa and Chiko that are now veterans. Kiva is giddy and playful while the old take it more easy, except under rodent chasing then the exitement turns them all into puppies ...
I'll update more if and when the puppies come. Sending an extra squeeze to my friend Oddrun Knudsen, who is so kind to be my right hand on website.
Then it was the end ofsummer this year, it seems that it went reasonably quickly but we will not complain this year!
We have enjoyed the benefits of many lovely sunny days.
On the doggy side, there has been a little down, up and down again when it comes to show results. Kiva is still unfinished in the body, not very entusiastic in the food bowl and is too thin. Going to try and change food for her and see if it can help. It did not exactly help I had shaved off half her beard neighter. I´m in the process of learning how to roll the coat so it was not the optimal show condition.
Thank Oddrun and Børge that I once again could live with them during the exhibition. Thank you Oddrun for help with clipper adjustment and Børge for photography. Will also CONGRATULATe sooo much with BOB and placement in the group in the puppy show. And CAC both Saturday and Sunday for Oddrun´s beautiful male who, despite a wet Sunday performed so well in the ring.
Then I wish you all a very nice autumn and many good days out in the woods on walks with your 4 legged friends. And for those of you going to show,

It was super
weather, was
almost a little
hot ..
There was also two national shows that Kiva attended, everything was new and exciting and a little scary at first. Considering that she was not optimal in coat it went well. Oddrun helped make new photos of Kiva, and Børge made photos from show...thank you both so much!

Latest news here is that our new little girl in the
house has got its first season.
And she made her debut in the puppy show, which she
was a little skeptical to at first...
She was carsick and puked on our trip to the
exhibition after she had been bathed and blow dried
for the occasion.
Little to do with it, just had to continue with
wipes and brush and let it rip ..
Yes, Yes one never know ..
She showed in the group for 4-6months and she got
BOB puppy and BIG2 puppy.
Reviews were very good and judge Torbjrn Granheim
comment was:
"Very promising. Excellent head. Good lines in body.
Excellent bone. Correct in front. Somewhat
bow-legged behind. A very good coat quality and
color. Very good movement. Excellent mental"
So this we are very pleased with;-)

She is very active and playful and has a strong
"ego" okay, a real cuddly girl also when she is in
need of that!
Now the summer go to a little vacation with the
youngest boy in the house Raymond on a trip to
Kristiansand, holidays will be a experiences for
children event, so I reckon that the mother is like
a dish cloth when she comes home ...
But kids have to also get some summer fun with a
trip to Sweden and daisies, water park and zoo and
MCDonnalds so we can allow us a year without chips
and burgers. When we get home it is probably our
beloved cabin that is the center and then its
Finnmark bathing suit,
fishing rods and lots of hiking in the mountains! EXTREMELY LOVELY.!
Dad will not go on vacation, but stay home and take
care of the rest of the family... both 2 and 4
legged ..

We are home again! Have had a pleasant trip to Oslo and Sandefjord. Has been visiting at Kennel Noxeema, Oskar and Arne and mated our Di Chi `s Lucky With Maya with their Louis von den Brunnegarten so now we're excited to baby beards in the house again.
Louis in his young days! Thanks to Oskar and Arne for their helpfulness and nice hours we had together. Puppy reservations can be made, just call or mail me if there are any who are interested in our litter.
Hello! So we were in a new year again. There really is not much new ... Planning a new litter on Maya when she comes in heat next time.
Not quite good to say when it will be but expect that it will be during the January / February, she is slightly unstable with her periods ..

Thanks for Christmas greetings, we wish you all a nice Christmas season!
Now the exhibition weekend in Tromsø is over for this time,
took the trip mostly to get Maya eye examined before the scheduled Spring litter. She is clear, but treated for an eye inflammation in the left eye as the most likely get a lot of running in the bushes and that she therefore has a scratch in the eye. I want to thank my dear friend Oddrun Knudsen and her family for a great stay in Tromsø.
Good food and wine, and of course lots of shopping ...
Also had nice company at the exhibition of Kennel Kultiva, that did so well with little Winnie from Kennel Di Chi avd Tromsø got BOB puppy.
Also their Diaz, got both the CAC and BOS. Congratulations! Much laughter and joy with the old and new dog friends so it was definitely worth making a trip down to Tromsø and "be all about dogs" for a weekend.
Many thanks to Oddrun and Børge for their hospitality and kindness. Thank you also for the photos that photographer Børge largely accounted for! To dep. Tromsø huge Congratulations on both Cert, BIR, BIG1, and also receiving the Norwegian Champion title this weekend on Beautiful Tootza!!

Hello! Then we were back with another update .. This has not happened as much since this summer. We did not travel anywhere during Summer but enjoyed many walks in the forests with our everyday looking dogs. Mayas coat looks just awful but it is what it is with Schnauzers and trimming. On the pictures she is trimmed all down because we plan to exhibit in October in Tromsø. There she can also have her eyes checked before the next litter, which we hope will be in the spring if everything goes as planned.
Tufsa is now retired from breeding... Otherwise, I THANK YOU SO MUCH to dep Tromsø for all help and support and expertise with our website .....
Autumn has come onto the scene, with frosty nights but gorgeous day with sunshine and beautiful colors in nature, and wonderful walks with our 4 legged friends.
Spysie, the mix puppy for our daughter is making progress. She is a energy bundle and eager to learn, but has a tendency to "not give a shit" when she becomes too happy, happy and excited. I hope that we can get it off her eventually. Otherwise she is a nice dog.
Wish all our old and new puppy buyers, and our dog friends and other friends a EXCELLENT AUTUMN!!
We have to everyone's grief sold our horse Mellem Balder to Carol Schmitz in VANGSVIK. But we chose to do this because there is little time for him now that our daughter who has had him is a teenager with so many interests. She also starts college this fall, then there will be little time for such a nice horse that requires a lot of exercise. It was a sad day when he went and not a dry eye among us. We've heard about the transport to assure Balder is well and that he's at home with his new owners. It is a consolation ....
Otherwise, our daughter is occupied by sheep and Herding and also would like agility training with a dog. So our new family member is a mix breed of Australian kelpie and Border Collie, it will be exciting to see how this mix will be and whether our daughter is mature enough for this responsibility .. The puppy is called Spysie and like most puppies. She settled just fine in the pack with our Minis. They help with the mission ...

Results: 1 quality, 1kompetition, CK, 2 BTK
Criticism: Female 3 years, MG type, feminine head, MG cut, typical race, Strong building harmonious body, well-angled and the back legs, Good paws, Excellent Coat quality. and disposition, good movement from the side, slightly unstable front, slightly narrow behind.
Must add that the judge found that she was a little too heavy in weight but that he thought she was a promising bitch . This is not in the critic but add it anyway. The reason for the weight is that she has been alone at home with father and the children while I've had a week's vacation after lambing and controls. When dad´s in charge at home everybody eats as much as they want... Yes, yes that was it for this time. Congratulations to Laila Somby with her debutant in the ring!! Proper feeding is a good thing!
I would also add that I plan a litter for spring 09.

Hello all dog friends!
It's been quite a break on my part, and I decided a update was overdue.
It's been quite a break on my part, and I decided an update was overdue. I'm a way to lacy photographer, but have added some new pictures this time.
Up here in the far north there is little action in our dog department at the moment. Spring has arrived and the snow is melting every day, witch reflects in our dogs .... Tufsa is dead serious on her job on our farm, and patrols the animals morning and evening. Our sheep are having their young at this time, so we are quite occupied with this.
We have bulls, sheep and a horse named Mellem Balder. And then it's the barn cat, whom Tufsa gets along with just fine as long as she is alone without Maya and Chiko. All of them together will chase her ... our cat has learned this and takes her steps as to whom is entering her children.
I decided to take a break from showing and breeding. Next litter is planned for spring -09, at the moment I'm looking for a suitable male.
So, little news. We enjoy our walks in between the birth of baby lamb, kids school work and other activities.
At the time we walk mostly on our beach, with lots of interesting birds two sneak up on. The mountain is still full of raw wet snow, so not very suitable terrain. But then the beach here in Ekkerøy is beautiful, and well known!!
That it for now, a little update on what's happening. I´m going to pull myself together and bring my camera along more on future walks.

We can only admit that we got fooled this year also. Took Summer in advance and was "surprised" by the snow, and even the dogs thought it was uncomfortably cold!
We hope it improves and wish visitors and puppy buyers a great 17th celebration.
Ari was eye examined 12.05.06, result clear.
Unfortunately Tufsa hade no puppies this time!
In Vadsø next litter are planned to fall -06.
Stjernedvergens Ålreite Tufsa are now mated. If all goes well puppies are expected around 18.Mars.
New years rockets are done for this time, and all dogs responded just fine to it.
Ari has grown to be 5.5 months, and his page is updated with new photos!
